How did I get here?

I learned the hard way

Four years ago I was working as a full-time nurse in the operating room, feeling lost after 25 years in the field. I was desperately searching for a way out, but I wasn’t sure where to turn.

Then hit a huge roadblock. I lost my job.

It left me heartbroken and lost. For so long, my identity was tied to being a nurse. But then, I realized something crucial: Our jobs don't define who we are— we do.

...and then it got worse! Until...

I discovered mentorship.

My coach showed me a way out of my misery and encouraged me to invest in my own unique expertise. With guidance I was able to chart a new path and leave behind the soul-sucking experience of working a “9-5”.

I started to change, transform.

I leaned into my leadership training and made a choice not to quit on myself. Instead, I doubled down and discovered something important:

With 25 years of experience as a nurse in operating room settings, Mari McCann has left her mark in the field. She has lived and worked in five countries, speaks five languages, and has explored over 20 countries, dedicating years of service in international operating rooms.

Today, Mari is the founder of "Step Up & Step Out With Confidence" and a Certified Virtual Coach, trained by Eben Pagan. She has completed the Leadership & Business Program with Shanda Sumpter and continues her education with “Magnetic Mind” by Chris Duncan, “Deliver Your Genius” by Christina Jandally, “Spotlight” business and speaking solutions with Suzanne Evans.

Her growth has also been shaped by learning from influential leaders like Grant Cardone, Pete Vargas, Tony Robbins, Hui Hui Lek…
